Welcome F2F. Thanks for sharing your story. I am also a born in who is only a few years younger than yourself. So I'm sure we dealt with many of the same issues growing up in a JW family. Grandparents on both sides were JWs. I was fortunate in that I was never baptized and ended up walking away around the time I got my first GF at 16 years old. My parents are still active and never skip an opportunity to invite me to CO talks and memorials. Even though I left at a young age, it took some time to deprogram all the BS they drill into your head. It's a process. Take your time with it and enjoy the freedom!

Former2free bio and intro
by former2free inoh where to begin i am a born in witness witness mother and father and grandparents though only 2 of the 4. i was born in the early 80’s and immediately my parents faced the blood transfusion issue course in their minds at the time it wasn’t an issue it was not gonna happen.
i don’t wanna go into too much detail but fortunately it worked out well as is evidenced by my writing of this back story.
i had the usual spiritual goals that most witness children have i got baptized at 13 then i started running mics and doing sound and giving more talks.

i just love virtually any kind, from creamy and soft to brittle and sharp, from cottage cheese to the 'moldy' cheeses like gorgonzola.

White Nationalism puts a hyper focus on the inferiority of those who are not white. They emphasize the need for a white ethno-state because of said inferiority. There is this weird obsession with "white genocide' in the mind of the white nationalist. Oh and they love to talk about how much jews ruin everything lol. I can provide more details if needed
Black Nationalism puts a focus on returning to the mother land (Africa) in order to escape white supremacy. Their main goal is not "revenge" on white folks. That's an age old myth used to justify harsh repression of them

When I mentioned muslim extremists, I was referring to within the US. There is no doubt that muslim extremism is an issue. I am not doubting that for one second. The Islamic State is an islamic fascist group that has committed some of the most terrible acts imaginable. It's too bad that the US contributed to their rise.
If a feminist calling for the patriarchy to be smashed is violent incitement, then what would you call Trumps order to police to be more violent with suspects during arrests?

Yeah LUHE, but I don't actually see any 'democrats' actually calling for violent revolution, so why the need to throw socialist / communist label around so much? I'm trying to understand. To me, it's no different than the right wing's critique of always being called nazis when it isn't warranted.

If you want to speculate on the threat of the dreaded Socialists \ Communists running for office, at least consider some of the open white nationalists that are running for office recently such as Patrick Little and Joey Gibson. Oh and lets not forget Authur Jones. Yeah that guy who used to head the American Nazi Party who ran unopposed in the GOP Primary for Illinois.
Also, please don't lie to yourself and say that white nationalists are not violent people. I can provide ample evidence of white nationalists actually killing people. Multiple people in a few different countries. In terms of active threats to Americans, white nationalists top every list. They have killed more people than muslim extremists and leftists.

Socialism can only become Communism through a violent revolution though. Socialists hold onto this idea that their vision can be accomplished through mechanisms of the state. Such as reforms. They think the current system can slowly be reformed to fir their vision. Communists believe their ideal society can only be accomplished once the entire system has been flipped over on its head through a violent revolution. I've noticed that people are SUPER triggered by Alexandria Cortez recently. Even within the Democratic establishment. That is because through and through, the Democratic party still supports Capitalism. Alexandria Cortez doesn't mention anywhere in her platform that she wants to abolish Capitalism, but the right-wingers are all kinds of triggered over her (ironic considering they fling that expression at anyone to the left of trump)
